Hello my name is Cheryl and I'm a crafty Mumma from Australia.

I am Passionate about ethically produced goods. I love unique, I hate mass produced. I feel strongly that we, as consumers, should shop with a conscience. I love to sew. I love making jewellery +modern cross stitching I have always loved creating things.

My creative process is a bit of a mish mash; I always have a hundred ideas swirling around in my head. I mostly come up with ideas when I am lying in bed or in the rare moments when I am driving alone. Being a busy work at home mum with two young children, I find that I don't get as much time as I would like to create or think. I am always trying out new ideas and new mediums. I love to sew. I love making jewellery, modern cross stitching with timber and digital design.

My main focus at present in Digital design and custom invitations. With a very young family, I am finding I don't have as much time to make and create, while digital design is something I can easily do at nights while my little ones are sleeping and it is the easiest thing for me to do right now. Plus it is a bonus that little fingers can't mess with digital design like they tend to do with my handmade creations.

My inspiration and my motivation comes from within. I just love making things. I get inspiration from reading crafty blogs, browsing Pinterest and immersing myself in the creative world. It is important to find your own voice and not just copy other’s work. I might see something and think "oh what a great idea", but I always try and take a fresh approach and see how can I make something similar, but make it my own.
