Shoes are painted with a water-based acrylic paint that is flexible when dry. The paint is non-toxic and waterproof. Once finished, the shoes are then carefully sealed with a special non-toxic and environmentally safe coating that is odorless to protect the artwork.

When caring for baby and toddler shoes, please note that the sealant is water-based and may be removed if you scrub or wash the painted areas harshly. The paint is waterproof and is safe from rain and snow but be cautious around heavy snow and rainfall. Gently clean the shoes with warm water. Areas that are not painted or sealed may be cleaned with a solvent.
